We will review some fundamental questions concerning existence
of positive scalar and some other curvatures. Then we will
discuss some results and ideas on two topics:


* the moduli space of the metrics with positive scalar curvature
on given manifold and


* the moduli space (up to diffeomorphism and cobordism) of all
manifolds with positive scalar curvature of given dimension d.
