La 7ème Journée de l'Europe orientale et centrale, organisée par l'Institut interfacultaire de l'Europe orientale et centrale, sera consacrée cette année au thème intitulé «Russian Challenge: Between Freedom and Energy» respectivement aux récents développements politiques en Russie. L'instrumentalisation des ressources d'énergie et la transformation de l'Etat russe en «petrostate» seront analysés de manière critique.

Une table ronde sera menée dès 16 heures 30 par Dr Roman Berger, longtemps correspondant du Tages Anzeiger à Moscou.

L'invité prestigieux de la Journée sera Grigory Yavlinsky, président du parti Yabloko. Il parlera à 17 heures 20 de l"évolution de la démocratie en Russie et répondra aux questions du public.
