Global Environmental Justice Program (GEJ)
“One’s destination is never a place but a new way of seeing things.”
Henry Miller
Climate change is the existential challenge of our time. While there is effectively unanimous expert agreement that our social trajectory is dangerously unsustainable, world governments have been slow to address the threat, let alone coordinate a comprehensive global response. This course has two complimentary goals. The first is to provide a broad introduction to the literature, drawing connections between science, sociopolitical theory, and contemporary efforts to address the climate crisis.
