The Global Science Film Festival screens "Cinema Sabaya" by Israeli film maker Orit Fouks Rotem. The film tells the story of a group of Arab and Jewish women who attend a video workshop in a small town community centre. Cinema Sabaya presents a deft and heartfelt portrait of art's capacity to unite disparate communities. As each woman shares footage from her home life with oters, their beliefs and preconceptions are challenged and barriers are broken down. Screening is followed by a panel discussion between Dr. Sibylle Lustenberger and Orit Fouks Rotem on anthropological perspectives on a divided society.
