Content

Target audience
This course is open to all students and staff of the University of Fribourg and its partner institutions.

Course contents and teaching method
The course prepares students for the DELF B1 diploma (Diplôme d'études en langue française) in its current form.

This diploma, as its name suggests, corresponds to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference) levels. It is made up of oral and written tests, organised in the form of tasks, which seem to be commonplace in everyday life.

The course will prepare students for the 4 tests (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking).

After a description of the tests, advice and above all practical exercises should enable future candidates to tackle the DELF B1 tests in good conditions and achieve the desired result, i.e. obtaining this diploma.

Workload and evaluation
This course requires regular homework (1 to 2 hours per week).

To validate the course, students must attend at least 80% of the sessions and pass the exams during the semester.

° can skim text of sufficient length to locate the information required, and can put together information from different parts of the text or from different texts to complete a specific task.
° can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
° can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
