In the upcoming semester, we will again offer a wide range of German, French, English and Italian courses with a wide variety of topics for different levels and needs. Here is a small selection from over 50 courses: conversation courses, preparation courses for the French certificate DELF B1 and Cambridge English certificates, grammar courses, courses focused on reading and writing, English courses focused on pronunciation, a Swiss German course or a German course which is aimed in particular at people from the fields of STEM, introduction courses to legal language etc.

Most courses take place on-site at the Miséricorde Campus, with some at Regina Mundi and Pérolles.
All semester courses are free of charge for members of the University of Fribourg.

Registration period: 2 to 29 September 2024
Classes start in the week of 16 September 2024.

Furthermore, we introduce the new "Bilingue plus - Interdisciplinary" training for Master's students, offering the opportunity to enhance both oral and written proficiency in German or French. Additionally, the fees for the training "Bilingue plus - Law", specifically designed for students of the Faculty of Law, have been reduced, making it more attractive and financially accessible than ever. Another new feature is the national tandem platform edu.e-tandem which is free of charge. Language tandems focus on improving oral communication. Register now to find a suitable language partner at a Swiss university!
