Self-directed learning

With autonomous learning, you decide by yourself what, how, when, where, and with what material you want to learn and whether you want to learn by yourself or with others. The purpose is to supplement language learning in courses with a wide range of autonomy-promoting learning opportunities. If you guide your own learning you assume full responsibility for the process.

In our self-learning area, we offer a media library with learning materials for around 60 languages, an access to a national platform for finding language tandem partners, Moodle platforms in German, French and English, and an online search tool for suitable learning materials.
