Action Fund
Innovation and commitment are often welcomed, but rarely promoted. On 27 April 2016, the CSWM General Assembly decided to create the budget item "Action Fund", which is to take on precisely this task. With the introduction of the "Action Fund", the CSWM hopes to send impulsive signals to the scientific mid-level community that will strengthen and advance this community. In doing so, the action fund builds on the creativity and innovative capacity of the members of the mid-level faculty and offers them funding and support for the implementation of ideas for which there are often no funds available in the university community overall.

Which projects and events are supported?
Innovative ideas and events are supported: From poetry slams and concert events, for example, to individual projects on sustainable development, equality and tolerance, to "book cells" within the university. Anything that demonstrates innovation and commitment is welcome.
In particular, further education measures and events that are covered by the regulations for the partial reimbursement of further education costs for academic staff at the University of Fribourg (continuing education fund) as well as publications, study trips and the purchase of materials are excluded from support from the action fund. There is no legal entitlement to funding from the Action Fund.
