How do I get a library account = SWITCH edu-ID account and a library card?
To connect to Discovery Fribourg-Freiburg and access the library's content, you need a SWITCH edu-ID registration.
Students, professors and employees of the University of Fribourg :
When you registered, you already created a SWITCH edu-ID record. You still need to add the barcode number of the Campus Card to your SWITCH edu-ID record: https://registration.slsp.ch/library-card.
By registering the University of Fribourg Campus Card number in SWITCH edu-ID, the Campus Card becomes a Swisscovery library card valid throughout the Swisscovery network.
All other users:
Create your Switch edu-ID registration at https://registration.slsp.ch/?iz=bcufr. Add your BCU card number to your Switch edu-ID here: https://registration.slsp.ch/library-card.
People who do not yet have a library card can obtain one free of charge from one of the libraries participating in Swisscovery (upon presentation of a Swiss ID or Swiss residence permit).
Changes to personal data:
All changes to personal data can be made in the SWITCH edu-ID account management: eduid.ch.
Merging two SWITCH edu-IDs :
Two different SWITCH edu-IDs, but set up for the same person, can be merged here: https://eduid.ch/web/remove-duplicate-account/
