Dr. Gage (Ganqi) Tang - Researcher
Gage is currently a postdoc researcher under the chair of strategic entrepreneurship.
Gage earned his MiM and PhD degrees in Entrepreneurship at IESE Barcelona. He was originally trained as a psychologist (B.Sc. and M.Sc.) and specialised in emotion and emotion management. Before rejoining academia, he worked as a management consultant, and served clients such as Disney, Bosch, General Motors, and Mercedes-Benz, to name but a few. He speaks English, Spanish, French, and Mandarin, and he understands a bit German and Italian.

- Business model innovation, business model design
- Artificial intelligence (AI) integration
- Corporate entrepreneurship (intrapreneurship)
- Platform and ecosystem management
Research foci:
- Behavioral strategy / strategy processes, in strategy formation, change, renewal/pivot, and implementation.
- Microfoundations for strategy and entrepreneurship, including emotion, identity and identity work, and social dynamics
- Strategic leadership, ceo/top management team, entrepreneur/new venture team.
