Climate change has numerous impacts on people and their environment. Human health is particularly affected. According to WHO estimates, there are already around 250,000 additional climate-related deaths each year - from hunger, disease or heat.

What are the effects of climate change on humans, animals and the environment, especially in countries of the South? What does this mean for disadvantaged population groups? How does development cooperation address these problems? What moral obligations do we have?
