From June 02-08, 2024, the Environmental Philosophy Summer School took place in Hejnice in the Czech Republic. In the rooms of a picturesque monastery, environmental ethicists from all over Europe met to clarify urgent philosophical questions concerning our interaction with nature. Ivo Wallimann-Helmer was on site and gave an introduction to the principles-based ethical approach being developed at our institute.
