Our current research focuses on the following themes :

• Climate ethics, in particular the question of how to bring perspectives from the North and the South better into a better global dialogue
• The ethics of risk and uncertainty, in particular the question of whether we should cultivate hope to achieve grand visions, such as the Sustainable Development Goals
• Population ethics, in particular the question of whether there should be restraint in publicly discussing limits to population growth
• Short-termism, in particular the question of designing political institutions which counteract the short-termist bias current democracies display
