Experimental Lab

The Experimental Lab hosts experimental setups :

• Open flume setup with 3 channels of 0.5 m, a peristaltic pump and holders for electrodes (pH, cond) linked to an in-house built monitoring device
• Closed flow-through reactor or batch experiments with/without gas and under oxic or anoxic conditions.
• UNISENSE Microprofiling System with Field Microsensor Multimeter equipped with different sensors (Temperature, pH, Redox, Hydrogen Sulfide, Oxygen)

A fridge or LAUDA thermostat (-25 to 80°C) are available for equilibrating solutions or keeping the experiment at the appropriate temperature.

We envisage micro- to meso-scale sample and experimental setups that allow integration with the in-house micro-CT scanner for 3D visualisation of processes and products in the experiments.
