CAS Fundamental Questions of Christian Existence
An ecumenical continuing education program that explores the relevance of Christian faith for everyday life.
The course "Fundamental Questions of Christian Existence" began its fourth cycle in autumn 2023. Around 160 participants have taken part in the previous three sessions. The aim of this two-year program is to engage in a reflective exploration of the core questions of the Christian faith. Central to the course are the relationship between theory and practice as well as the renewal of church and society. The course goes beyond theoretical content, placing a strong emphasis on how the Christian faith relates to personal, professional, ecclesial, and societal contexts.
The program is open to all interested individuals. It is possible to complete the course with or without a CAS certificate.
Update: The extension of the course to a DAS in Fundamental Questions of Christian Existence is currently in development. Starting in September 2025, the course will be offered as a DAS instead of a CAS.
