An ecumenical continuing education program that explores the relevance of Christian faith for everyday life.
The newly restructured DAS program (Diploma of Advanced Studies) "Fundamental Questions of Christian Existence" consists of two CAS modules that together provide a comprehensive overview of the key fields of Christian theology.
The course “Fundamental Questions of Christian Existence” will begin its fifth edition in autumn 2025. More than 200 students have participated in the previous four cohorts, when the course was still offered as a CAS. The aim of this 18-month program is to engage critically and reflectively with the foundational questions of the Christian faith. Central to the course are the integration of theory and practice, as well as the renewal of church and society. The program does not merely convey theoretical knowledge; it also emphasizes how Christian faith relates to personal, professional, ecclesial, and societal contexts.
The program is open to all interested individuals. It is possible to complete the course with or without earning the DAS certificate. Graduates of the Diploma of Advanced Studies will be awarded 30 ECTS credits. Admission requires a recognized bachelor’s degree (university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent).
This course is held in german.
