Short Biography
After completing my training and a brief period as a design engineer (EFZ), I studied Microtechnology and Medical Technology at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BSc) and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Bern (MSc). I completed my engineering studies in 2020 with a thesis in Computational Neuroscience. At the same time, I pursued studies in Theology at the Universities of Bern and Fribourg from 2017 to 2024. From 2016 to 2023, I worked as a research associate at the Institute for Human Centered Engineering at the Bern University of Applied Sciences, including serving as the deputy director of a large InnoSuisse project. Since 2023, I have been working at the Center for Faith & Society, and since 2025, I have been pursuing a PhD in Theology at the UFSP Digital Religion(s) at the University of Zurich.
