Editing of The Samaritan Pentateuch of Fribourg

In September 2000, thanks to the gifts of several sponsors, the University of Fribourg and the Biblical and Oriental Museum acquired a manuscript of the Samaritan Penteatusch dated 1495, believed to have disappeared.
The Barthélemy Institute has undertaken the task of studying and editing this manuscript, in the framework of the Laboratory of Hebrew Manuscripts and Texts (LMTH in French). A doctoral research thesis, being conducted by Mary-Gabrielle Roth-Mouthon, will assess the textual value of this manuscript.
