  • 2 weeks, from Monday, June 23, until Friday, July 4, 2025
  • 2 cities: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Hanoi
  • ca. 10 companies visits and speeches by local managers in Vietnam
  • ca. 2 days of academic lectures
  • study trip co-organized with the Austral Education Group
  • 2 days weekend with the optional visits to Mekong Delta, Cu Chi Tunnels or other cultural programmes
  • course counts for the Spring Semester 2025
  • 4.5 ECTS
  • for grading, a 15-page seminar paper on Asian management must be submitted prior to the departure

The total cost for the Austral Education Group is USD 3’634 (excluding the international flight). However, the Foundation of the University of Fribourg and the Department of Management pay a subsidy of 50%.

Thus, your cost for the Austral Education Group is only USD 1’817 (ca. CHF 1’650). This includes 11 hotel nights in 4-star hotels, organization, accompanying guide, course fee, bus transfers in Vietnam, several meals, and the flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi.

In addition, you must book and individually pay your flight from Europe to Ho Chi Minh City and back from Hanoi to Europe.

 
 Registration

Registration happens in 3 steps:

    • This is a binding registration from your side. Based on this, we will do the selection and inform you as soon as possible (in ca. 2 weeks) if you can participate.
    • With your registration in this form, you agree to register for the study trip and for the course, if you are accepted.

 

  • Step 2: Only after you have received this confirmation by us, you can register officially with the Austral Group (our service provider).
    • We will send you the link to their registration page with our confirmation e-mail. At that time, they will also inform you about the payment conditions (payment will be due in late march).

 

  • Step 3: Only after you have received this confirmation by us, you should register for the course at myUnifr (we will create the course on myUnifr in the next weeks).
