
Andrej Lushnycky
Honorary Consul of Ukraine since 2014, Andrej Nicholas Lushnycky is a senior research associate of the Interdisciplinary Institute for Central and Eastern Europe (IICEE) and Executive Director of the ACP and SIO Programs at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland).
He is co-editor of two volumes of the prestigious series Interdisciplinary Studies on Central and Eastern Europe, Ukraine at a Crossroads (2005) and Ukraine on its Meandering Path Between East and West (2009) and has authored numerous scholarly articles on Ukraine as well as organized and participated in a great many conferences and symposia on Ukraine and Eastern Europe. His research areas include contemporary Ukrainian political analysis, history, culture, and Diaspora studies.
In addition, he has served as president of the Ukrainian Society of Switzerland since 1998, of the Shevchenko Scientific Society of Switzerland since 2011 and has been a board member of the Fondation Vidrogenia since 2013.
