Dr Bernd Ehle is a partner at LALIVE in Geneva specializing in international arbitration. He has extensive experience as both counsel, arbitrator and dispute board member in over 100 high-stakes disputes conducted under various arbitration rules and governed by civil and common law.
Dr Ehle’s practice focuses on complex disputes involving in particular construction, infrastructure and mining projects.
He is a member of the Arbitration Court of the Swiss Arbitration Centre and of the Advisory Board of Africa Construction Law (ACL). Dr Ehle is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and co-chairs the Construction Group of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS). He has a PhD in Law from the University of Heidelberg, Germany, and an LLM from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, USA.
