We use probability to study problems inspired by statistical mechanics. Our models often describe the large scale behaviour of systems formed of many particles. Of particular interest are the phase transitions exhibited by such systems. Specific examples of models we study are percolation, the random-cluster and Potts models and self-avoiding walk.
