Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) is actually Metropolitan of Budapest and Hungary for the Russian Orthodox Church. He was conferred his habilitation at the Faculty of Theology in Fribourg by his research on « Le mystère sacré de l’Église. Introduction à l’histoire et à la problématique des débats athonites sur la vénération du nom de Dieu » (= SOF 47, Fribourg 2007). Several books by Metropolitan Hilarion are published in the book collections of the ISO.
