Informal Research Group
Since its inception in Fall 2009 at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), the Informal Research Group has been bringing together novice researchers in language- and linguistics-related disciplines to share their research in an informal setting.
The group currently has over 150 members from 22 different institutions in Europe and elsewhere.
Membership is open to anyone who is interested in language- and linguistics-related research.
The mailing list serves as the main means of communication between members and is used
- to pass on or request information
- to announce upcoming events, and
- for new members to introduce themselves to the group
