Fund for the Support of Open Access Publications

The Fund for the support of Open Access Publications assumes 50% of the publication costs up to a maximum amount of CHF 1000.-- if no other funding is available. For doctoral students 100% of the costs up to a maximum of CHF 2000 will be covered. In the case of journal articles, the publication must appear in a journal listed on the DOAJ website.

Researchers who are at least 50% employed and PhD students at the University of Fribourg can benefit from the funding.

According to the guidelines (art. 5), the deadline for submission begins on the day following acceptance of the manuscript for publication by the publisher, and ends six months later.
