Unless otherwise agreed, the rooms are booked from August 28 to September 1st, breakfast is included.

Fribourg Train Station to Hotel de la Rose (11-12 min) (via Rue de Lausanne: through old town; via Route des Alpes: scenic view of Fribourg)    

Hotel de la Rose to University of Fribourg, Miséricorde, Aula Magna (14-15 min) 

 

Fribourg Train Station to University of Fribourg (7 min)

 

The nearest shop where you can buy drinks, food, chocolate etc. is Migros and Coop at the train station (open 6-21h). 
Going down the ramp from the platform, you turn left, enter the bus station, take the escalator and there you are:

Direct trains from Zurich Airport to Fribourg usually run every hour at XXh08 and arrive 1h47 later.

There are more connections with changes either in Zurich main station, or in Berne.

 

Direct trains from Geneva Airport to Fribourg usually run at XXh32 and XXh48 and arrive 1h31 or 1h45 later.

 

But please check the current timetable.

  • Participants from Europe/UK: Your travel costs are financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation. We kindly ask you not to exceed the given budget of CHF 500.- (economy flight & 2nd class train tickets).
  • Participants from Greece: travel organized by Volos Theological Academy
