Cotutelles de thèse

A cotutelle de thèse project or a PhD partnership is conducted on the basis of a formal agreement between a Swiss and a foreign higher education institution, under the supervision of two supervisors, a joint thesis defence and an issue of a joint doctoral degree certificate or two degree certificates.

The cotutelle de thèse is governed by a contract signed by the two universities and for which at least two semesters have been taken. In this context it is possible to receive a grant from the CRUS.
