Biografie
Angie Gago is a senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Fribourg. She teaches MA and BA courses on European welfare states and social policy. She was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne and holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Milan. Her research interests are European politics, European social policy, Swiss-EU relations and national welfare states. In particular, she studies the impact of the European Union on national labour market and social policies. She is co-author of Capitalising on Constraint (Manchester University Press, 2021). Her recent publications have appeared in the Journal of European Social Policy and the Swiss Political Science Review.
