Scholarship from the Fondation Jean et Bluette Nordmann
The Jean and Bluette Nordmann Foundation supports exchanges between the University of Fribourg and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem by providing mobility grants. These scholarships are open to professors, postdoctoral researchers, doctoral students, and Master's students from all faculties.
Duration of the exchange:
- Professors, postdoctoral researchers, doctoral students: up to six months.
- Master's students: one semester (in exceptional cases, one academic year). Further information for Master's students can be found here.
Annual application deadline: October 31; application (see info sheet) by email to the International Relations Office at the home University. The number of scholarships awarded each year is limited. The foundation is responsible for the selection.
The Foundation: The Foundation was established in Fribourg in 1990 and aims to contribute to the knowledge and study of Judaism and Christianity as religions and cultures, to strengthen Jewish-Christian dialogue and relations between Israel and Switzerland, and to promote scientific and institutional exchange between the University of Fribourg and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
