Changes in degree or study programmes
If you are currently registered at the University of Fribourg, you must under no circumstances apply through Inscruni.
The Office for Admissions and Registration has no information concerning changes in degree or study programmes. Should you have any questions, please contact the Dean’s office of your Faculty.
During the application period
Once you will have validated your online application, the administrative procedure has begun and it will no longer be possible to change your degree programme /study programme. In the event of an incorrect application for admission, an additional online application can be submitted, provided that the new application fee is paid. This new application for admission will be processed separately to the first application.
If you wish to submit an additional application for admission, you must create a new Inscruni account, using another email address.
After the admission
After your admission to the degree / study programme initially chosen, you can request a change of programme on the MyUnifr portal. The request will then be processed by the relevant faculty.
During the studies
During your studies, you can request a change of degree / study programme on the MyUnifr portal. The request will then be processed by the relevant faculty.
At the end of the studies
- If you have completed your Bachelor studies and wish to continue with Master studies, please submit your application on the MyUnifr portal.
- If you wish to register for an early start to Master studies ("master anticipé") and your Faculty offers this possibility, please submit your application on the MyUnifr portal.
Exception: if you are currently registered at the Faculty of Science and Medicine, please consult the information available on the Faculty website.
Simultaneous registration in different degree programmes
In principle, you can register for more than one degree programme leading to a diploma. If you wish to do so, please complete the application form and send it to your Faculty. If you have any questions, please contact your Faculty.
When registered for more than one degree programme, you must pay a tuition fee for each degree programme. The basic registration fee, though, is charged only once.
