In its interdisciplinary thematic focus, the SZRKG 2024 is dedicated to postcolonial religious memory: The contributions by authors from Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland are devoted to the construction, public use, contestedness and transformation of memory in the context of imperialism, colonialism and decolonisation.
Since August 2024, the SZRKG is working in a new team: Joël Mayo succeeds David Neuhold as the new scientific member of the editorial team, Jakob Neuhold is responsible for the website and David Hubli is responsible for producing a newsletter. The editorial team also includes the translators Iulia Malaspina, Tamara Renaud and Damian Troxler.
