    Description

    In der Übung werden die Inhalte aus den Vorlesungen "Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung: Einführung" und "Methoden der empirischen Sozialforschung: Vertiefung" praktisch angewandt. In kleinen Gruppen üben Sie, Befragungen, Inhaltsanalysen und Dokumentenanalysen vorzubereiten und durchzuführen. Dabei berücksichtigen wir die Besonderheiten von qualitativen und quantitativen Forschungsmethoden sowie von korrelativen und experimentellen Designs. Zudem befassen wir uns mit der Frage, welche Analyseverfahren für die Auswertung der gesammelten Daten geeignet sind. Sie lernen, einen Forschungsplan zu erstellen, welcher die empirische Umsetzung eines Forschungsvorhabens dokumentiert.

    • Sie können für eine Forschungsfrage eine geeignete Forschungsmethode und ein geeignetes Forschungsdesign aussuchen und entsprechende Erhebungsinstrumente erstellen
    • Sie können selbständig quantitative und qualitative Befragungen konzipieren und durchführen
    • Sie können selbständig quantitative und qualitative Inhaltsanalysen konzipieren und durchführen
    • Sie können selbständig eine Dokumentenanalyse durchführen und eine Quellenkritik vornehmen
    • Sie können Massnahmen zur Qualitätssicherung (Attention Checks, Probecodierung, Reliabilitätstest) umsetzen
    • Sie können einen Forschungsplan erstellen
