    Description

    Der Grundkurs ist an das Proseminar «Der grosse Rausch. Drogen und Drogenpolitik in der Schweiz im 20. Jahrhundert» gekoppelt und bietet eine Einführung in die methodischen Grundlagen für das Verfassen schriftlicher Arbeiten im Bereich der Zeitgeschichte. Zudem ist der Besuch des Bibliothekskurses «Informationskompetenz für Historiker*innen» für die Validierung des Grundkurses erforderlich.

    Wir erarbeiten und diskutieren gemeinsam das Vorgehen bei der Suche, Analyse und Interpretation von Quellen sowie die Strukturierung des Forschungsgegenstands. Wir lernen zudem die schweizerische Archiv- und Bibliothekslandschaft kennen und befassen uns mit deren Zugängen. Wir erarbeiten gemeinsam, wie man Sekundärliteratur recherchiert, sich einen Überblick über die bestehende Forschung verschafft und setzten uns mit dem wissenschaftlichen Schreiben auseinander. Gleichzeitig bietet der Grundkurs Raum für methodische Fragen, die von den Studierenden selbst eingebracht werden können. 

    Ziel ist es, dass jede:r Studierende die grundlegenden methodischen Kenntnisse und Kompetenzen historischen Arbeitens erwirbt und diese sogleich auf das Verfassen der Proseminararbeit anwenden kann.
