Biography

Serge K. Keller, FCD, was born and raised in the Italian-speaking Switzerland. He studied biology at the University of Neuchâtel, and then trained in journalism and communication sciences at the University of Fribourg. He also completed a MAS in new web technologies at the University of Geneva.

He has worked as a freelance scientific and technical journalist with IT magazines and an agency specialising in new communication technologies, and has been active as a freelance online editor. He then joined the Communication Division of the Federal Office for the Environment and worked for an environmental communication agency in the Canton of Bern. In parallel, he worked as a web designer and information architect, and also as an accessibility consultant for websites.

Currently, he is working as an outreach manager for the Unicom Communication & Media team at the University of Fribourg. He is also active as a freelance writer and communication specialist with his own communication agency: Fleuron❦.
