Biography
Diletta Guidi is an art historian and political scientist. Born in Italy, she trained in France, the United Arab Emirates, Canada and Switzerland. Holder of a doctorate of Letters at the University of Fribourg and Doctor of Political Science at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (Paris), she wrote a thesis on Islam in French museums. His research focuses on the links between art, religion and politics. She works on cultural policies, especially museums, but she is also interested in less institutionalized forms of art (street art, performances, etc.) and their links with religion. She is also interested in the study of new religious authorities (TV preachers, cyber-gurus), as well as Islamophobia, especially on the Internet.
