Biography

I began my studies at the University of Fribourg/Freiburg, where I pursued a bachelor's degree in philosophy and history. I then moved to Belgium for two years to complete a research master's specialising in political philosophy and ethics at KU Leuven. After returning to Fribourg, I joined the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Humanities in February 2025 to undertake a doctoral thesis.

I aim to focus my research on direct democracy and its relation to ecology. I am particularly interested in the normative value of responsibility in democracy and its connection to ecological issues.
