Curriculum Vitae
Tobias Ertl is a post-doctoral researcher in the SNSF-funded project “Real Abstractions: Reconsidering Realism's Role for the Present”. In 2023, he received his PhD with the thesis “System der Abhängigkeiten. Zum Problem der Darstellbarkeit des Kapitals im Werk Melanie Gilligans” in the art history department of the University of Fribourg, where he also held a teaching position (2019-2023). From 2009 to 2017 he studied art history, comparative literature and philosophy in Frankfurt am Main, Paris and Montpellier.
