Biography
My research focuses on how society copes with transformation requirements and global change. I reconstruct these processes on various levels. The discoursive constructions of reality through media, but also on institutional adaptation to social and political change belong to my interests. My research topics include issues of migration, digitality and social work. I rely on qualitative empirical methods, including interview research and approaches based on the sociology of knowledge and discourse analysis.
