Biography

Talitha Cooreman-Guittin was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1971. She is Professor of Practical Theology and holds the Chair of Pastoral Theology, Religious Education and Homiletics at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). She is particularly interested in the possibility and relevance of friendship between people of all abilities, with and without cognitive disabilities. She is the author of "Catechèse et théologies du handicap – Ouvrir des chemins d’amitié au-delà des barrières de la déficience" (2020, PULouvain) and Alzheimer et amitié - cheminer ensemble dans l'Espérance. Regards chrétiens" (2023, Academic Press) .
