Biography

Carmen Delgado Luchner is a translator and interpreter by training. She obtained an MAS in Training of Trainers at the University of Geneva in 2014, followed by a PhD in Interpreting Studies in 2015. Before becoming the Head of the Language Centre in early 2021, Carmen worked as a conference interpreter, trainer, and doctoral and post-doctoral researcher in Switzerland, England, Kenya and South Africa. In addition to managing the Language Centre (80%), Carmen Delgado Luchner works as a freelance consultant in the field of community interpreter training in Switzerland.
