A joint seminar between Swiss NanoAnalytics and Anton Paar to learn about new instruments and pitfalls and best practices in the area of DLS.

Subjects will include:

Basics: particles and light diffusion
DLS, SLS, LD: What are they, and what are they not?
What defines the ultimate/attainable accuracy and reproducibility in DLS?
Averages and polydispersity values of a particle system.
Neat and not-so-neat particle system. What can one achieve?
Characterizing particles in a complex environment
The role and weight of complementary and orthogonal experimental techniques.
